MY STORY

“You have to find something that you love enough to be able to take risks.” – George Lucas

I was raised by a graphic designer father and fashion designer mother in Budapest, Hungary. The drawing addiction of my early years eventually led to me attending the famous, historic art school Training School for the Hungarian University of Fine Arts (est 1778) where I learned book design, including traditional bookbinding and typography. A few years later, I continued my studies at Moholy - Nagy University of Art and Design in their Department of Visual Communication & Graphic Design.  The faculty focused on a different set of visual arts, such as photography, painting, interactive media, and animation.  As my studies progressed, my attention started to veer more towards sculpture and mask making. I worked on several distinctive art projects in order to experiment with a wider variety art techniques and materials. My path soon took another turn to "Filmefex Studio," a mask & special effect studio, which drew me to work in the movie business. After graduating from MOME in 2006, my first film job was as a graphic assistant on “Munich,”movie  directed by Steven Spielberg.  Since 2004, I've worked as a graphic designer on a variety of films and television projects in Budapest, Croatia, London, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York and Hawaii. In 2015, my Green Card application was approved as a Special Talent and in 2022 I became an American Citizen. I'm a member of both Local 800 and 829 and I'm currently based in Los Angeles, California.
